How does it work?

1

Age

Our residential camps are available for students aged 11-17 years of age.

2

French Lessons

Our morning French lessons aren't like your French lessons at school! We focus on speaking and listening through fun activities. You will progress by taking part in projects and activities and when you get back to school, you will find French makes sense and seems easier!

3

Afternoon Activities

As you are on holiday, it is important to have fun while practicing your language skills. Our students take part in great activities such as surfing, paddle-boarding, water sports, beach games and much more. The activities take place in French to keep up your French immersion experience outside of the classroom.

4

Evening Activities

Evenings are a time for all of our students to come together after a busy day. There will be time to relax and contact family. We also arrange activities such as bowling, BBQs, slack lining, team games, French culture night, film nights and more. On the first night we host a welcome party so that all of our new arrivals can meet other students!

5

Weekend Activities and Excursions

At the weekend, more fun is on the cards and at a more relaxed pace. Students can get up a little later than during the week and have a relaxed breakfast. Weekends mean no classroom time so students get out and about taking part in sporting activities and excursions.

6

Full-board accommodation

Accommodation is provided in a study centre in rooms of 2-6 students with their own bathroom. Meals and snacks are provided.

7

Airport Meet & Greet Service

Our students come from all over the world. We come to the airport to meet our students on a Sunday afternoon and they are then transported to the camp together.

8

Pastoral Care & Student Welfare

All of the Gallico staff members have the necessary authorisations and experience to work with juniors. All of our activity leaders and teachers are qualified and experienced. Accommodation and activities included in this programme are all accredited by the French Government (Ministère de Jeunesse et Sports).
