A tremendous Summer Junior camp!  Our 11 year old son spent 2 weeks at the Alpine French School Summer Junior camp and had an amazing time. The program that includes language lessons in the morning and fun & exciting activities in the afternoon is the perfect formula for young people to improve their language skills whilst having fun. So much so he wants to go back this year but this time for 3 weeks! Thanks Alpine French school for a really special experience

Just a quick e mail to say how much the kids enjoyed your school. I think they are both keen too come back next year, and Tiger seems now bent  to do A level french ! Seems like they made some good friends and were kept wonderfully busy.

Our 15-year old daughter spent 2 weeks at the Junior Summer Camp in July 2017. She had a fantastic time and I was so proud when we picked her up. As I had hoped (and I suppose, expected) her French - both her confidence in speaking and her grammar - had improved massively. But as well, the experience made her grow and mature in so many other ways. She gained so much from this friendly, stimulating and supportive international environment. This was an outstandingly good experience for her.

I’m overdue in thanking you for all your assistance as we looked into sending our two children to camp this August. Mia and Noah had a terrific time and learned so much. The afternoon activities exceeded expectations and they are still in touch with friends they met that week.  The private lessons really helped Mia out with the subjunctive— on her first day of school, she passed the test needed to jump ahead a year of honors French.

We have been coming to Morzine for several years to take part in the Alpine French School French Summer Camps and my children love it! They have a fantastic time and their French teachers back in the UK are always astounded by the progress they make. They are now keen French students and regularly win French cups and awards at their school. We can't wait for Gallico's Perfect French Camps to come to the UK. We were unable to travel to France last summer because of Covid and my children have really missed their camps. We asked Alpine French School to start running camps in the UK along with several other families so we are delighted with this news :)

I wanted to take a French course but it was during the Covid lockdown so I had to take an online course with lessons over Zoom and an e-learning platform. I have to admit that I was proven wrong and I was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality and effectiveness of the teaching over Zoom. And no time is wasted on travel so it was really easy to fit into my working day! The e-learning platform became quite addictive in the end as I wanted to complete certain sections of my brain map and win cups to show my progression. I would highly recommend Gallico and I have definitely improved in my ability to communicate in French.

I took a course of private lessons over Zoom and was really impressed with the whole experience. My lessons were engaging and relevant, the staff were lovely and helpful, and I really felt that my French improved. I would highly recommend!

The private lessons with Fiona are fantastic, I definitely want to continue with them! I feel 1:1 on zoom works really well!

I was nervous about learning a new language, but I needn't have worried: the staff were great from the moment I booked with them. They helped me learn more about how to finance the course, they were flexible so I could fit the sessions into my schedule, and the lessons were really fun! Even better, I left with the confidence to communicate better in French! Many thanks to Christelle and the rest of the team.

My son spent three weeks at the camp. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is very welcoming. In the Discovery Program, he spent the mornings immersing in French and engaging in learning activities, and then the afternoons, going on excursions in the beautiful Alps. He has met many new friends through the camp, and I am happy that he is now conversing confidently in French.

I found my course challenging, extremely interesting and very enjoyable. Our teacher was responsive, encouraging and attentive and challenged us to broaden and increase our vocabulary and use of grammar. She mixed more formal uses of French with useful colloquialisms. In short I learnt a huge amount, increased my confidence levels and can’t wait to come back for more!

My sons attended a french summer camp in France with the Alpine French School and loved every minute of it. We had easy communication beforehand and a great experience for the boys during the camp. Highly recommended.

My 15 year old and 17 year old did a week of morning classes this summer. Even though my boys are are relatively advanced French speakers, they said they learned a lot and the teacher was really good. The school took COVID seriously so there were no worries about that, especially as there were only 5 kids in the class. They were also very flexible when my child was ill (we had to skip the first week to get him tested). The professionalism and communication was outstanding. Thank you!!!
